Regenerate is a three year project funded by the Big Lottery. As a part of SYSHP, we support young people aged 16-25 who are living in Swansea who have been homeless or socially excluded. The project works to engage young people in activities which will foster work-literate behaviour and build emotional intelligence. The project is tailored to the individual to help young people to focus on their abilities and build resilience in order for them to break down barriers, or to progress into the world of work, education or training.

Volunteering at Penllergare Woods, Swansea

The Regenerate team work in partnership with external agencies to deliver skills workshops, volunteering opportunities, creative sessions, 1:1 sessions working towards personal development, group work activities and opportunities for young people to be involved in decision-making.

We aim to engage young people in these constructive activities and work with them to build confidence and self-esteem, to develop transferable skills and to help them to become active citizens within the wider community.
